The Ultra Fine Biostone cartridge filter is used in the Jupiter MicroLite, Jupiter Melody Melody, Jupiter Orion and Jupiter Aquarius water ionizer models, but not the Vesta. The Ultra Biostone filter is also called a hollow membrane filter. This filter is the same size filter that is used in kidney dialysis. It is the only ionizer filter on the market that removes water borne viral and bacterial contaminants in potable water. It also incorporates anti-microbial GAC, calcium and tourmaline. The Ultra Biostone was the first .01 Micron filter available in the U.S. water ionizer industry.

It is the finest (smallest micron) domestic filter available and will remove virtually everything except for the essential alkalizing minerals. Typically, if on city water we recommend the regular Biostone filter but for well water and where there is hyper-allergy issues we recommend the Ultra Biostone .01 Micron filter.
